Welcome to nominate for the 2026 award

As an approved nominating body for the 2026 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, in this online service you can create an account for the organisation that you are representing. You will then be able to fill out the online nomination form to submit your candidate or candidates. It is possible to start filling out a nomination form, choose the save option and continue at a later time. 

Each nominating body have the right to nominate a maximum of four candidates. Please see further instructions in your invitation to nominate. In this online service you will submit a separate nomination form for each candidate that you wish to nominate.

Please save a local copy of the completed nomination form before submitting the nomination. After you submit the nomination, it will no longer be visible in the e-service.

All nominations must be received by the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award office no later than May 15, 2025. 

Please note that this online service is only for organisations that have been approved to nominate by the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award jury, a list of which can be found on our website. If you are representing a nominating body and cannot find your organisation on the list, or if you have any other questions in this matter, please contact the award office at nomination@alma.se 

All the information submitted in the nomination form are registered at the Swedish Arts Council as public documents. Therefore, always make sure to inform your candidate or candidates of their nomination, and never submit personal details about a candidate that isn’t requested or isn’t relevant for the jury’s evaluation.
